沙特建筑市场沙特是世界上人口增长最快的国家之一，预计2020年的总人口数量将达到4700万左右，人口的大幅度上升推动了市场的活跃度，房地产业出现了供不应求的现象，同时原油的大量高价出口也毫无悬念的把沙特带进了第二轮的建筑狂潮。
Saudi Arabia is one of the world's fastest population growths. It is expected that its total population will be about 47 million in 2020. The rapidly growing population promotes the development of market. Demand exceeds supply in real estate, and it's no doubt crude oil exports with high-price will bring the second round of construction fastigium in Saudi Arabia.
据统计，沙政府共将拨款2，500亿美金用于本国的居民住房，宾馆等基础设施建设以满足市场需求。2005年的建材行业已给沙特带来超过150亿美金的收入。据利雅得发展局估计，今后的五年中人口将从目前的500万增长到600万以上，需要额外增加570，000套住房来满足需要。 为迎合家园重建的增长，沙特政府提出价值350亿美金的基础设施、公用设施建设计划。而且，伊拉克面临重建，需向沙特等临国就近采购大批建材。
According to statistics, 250 billion dollars will be appropriated for its residential housing, hotels and other construction of infrastructural facilities to meet the market's demand. More than 15 billion dollars was brought by building industry in Saudi Arabia. The Riyadh Development Board estimates that the population in the next five years will increase from the current 5 million to 6 million, which need another 570,000 housing units. In order to meet the growth in rebuilding homes, the government put forward a plan which is worth 35 billion dollars in construction of infrastructural facilities and public facilities. Moreover, Iraq faces reconstruction, a large number of building materials need to be brought in from Saudi Arabia and other surrounding countries.

据报道，意大利和沙特石料的双边贸易不断增长，2004年~2006年，沙特从意大利进口石料增长了45%.虽然沙特目前大理石资源并不少，但很多都在其沙漠腹地，而且市场上需求多为花岗岩。
